After college, Jimmy began his career in the advertising department of the Home Depot Southeast Divisional Office. Due to his unique perspective and attention-grabbing materials, he was tapped to help with the start-up of an internal monthly magazine targeted to employees in Florida and Puerto Rico. The magazine blended ad campaigns with product editorial in order to help boost sales and educate employees. After leaving Home Depot, Jimmy spent a year in Miami most notably working on the South American & Caribbean print campaign for Charles Schwab. Upon returning to Tampa, he began working at iDirect Group where he created direct mail campaigns for auto dealerships across the nation. Soon after he was recruited by Style Publications to serve as Art Director. In that capacity, he was responsible for the cover-to-cover design of original advertising and editorial content for six monthly magazines. In additioan ot his design duties, Jimmy served as photographer and contributed editorial content. With MAD House, Jimmy saw an opportunity to continue working with a multitude of clients across a range of media to help them grow their business and increase profits through creative campaigns.
